Why do you need organizational consulting?
In today's rapid paced business environment, business professionals such as yourself are often expected to accomplish more with fewer resources. Due to downsizing and corporate restructuring, in addition to globalization, workers are being permanently eliminated. You, as managers and leaders are expected to shift gears quickly. But, how do you accomplish more with less? You need a partner who understands your business needs and can quickly provide timely solutions to organizational challenges. In short, you need the CIA.

What is the CIA?
CIA, or Career Intelligence Associates provides organizational consulting in the areas of career development, performance improvement, change management, and team building. We will partner with you to identify resistance to organizational change, recommend performance improvement strategies, and provide training for your employees. We will also assist you to identify top talent within the organization, and create talent management and leadership development programs to assure the success of those individuals.

What about Career Coaching?
In addition to expediting organizational needs assessments, we also provide individual coaching for leaders and other key individuals within your organization. Using a variety of assessment instruments, we assess the strengths and challenges of each individual, and recommend strategies for ongoing career success. We help your employees identify organizational goals, and provide tangible strategies for achieving them. We can also provide ongoing support for employees as they implement their individual action plans.

Who Runs the CIA?
CIA's founder and principal consultant is Terri G. Trent. Terri brings 20+ years of diverse human resources and organizational development experience. Terri has led change efforts in numerous industries, including: municipal governments, higher education, hospitals, management consulting firms, an airline, as well as numerous manufacturing firms.

Terri's specific areas of expertise include: performance management, career coaching, curriculum development using adult learning theory, leadership competency development, organizational change management, diversity training, team building, retention strategies, talent management, and multiple assessments, including the Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI).

Terri's education includes her current status as a Doctoral Candidate in Online Learning at Capella University. She also possesses an MBA from Widener University and a BA in Speech Communication from West Chester University. She also holds numerous professional certifications, including MBTI qualification.

Terri is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources, and the Urban League.
